12V Low Voltage Die-Cast Brass Flood Light

COLOER solid die-cast brass flood light IP65 waterproof and corrosion resistant, easy to install very durable. Adjustable shade moves up and down to modify the spread of light. This compact cast brass fixture is ideal for soft illumination of small to medium objects and landscape features. Compatible with G4 LED or halogen bi-pin bulbs up to 20W (not included).

Large-size brass floodlight: Brass large square flood light 5.12" wide and 5.98" tall with 6-foot 18 AWG lead wire and two waterproof wire connectors, ground stake also included.

Replaceable light bulb design: Replaceable bulb design with a socket for G4 or MR16, you can easily install or replace the bulb. The ceramic white paint can enhance the lighting effect.

IP65 waterproof: A silicone plug at the lead wire exit prevents ground moisture from entering through the stem, allowing this fixture to be used in humid environments.

Two lenses for choose: Both frosted and clear lenses are included in the package. With these two options, a variety of brightness levels for the floodlight.

Floodlights are IP65 weatherproof, durable, and complement the architecture of the surrounding area. These lights can create ambiance in the garden or be placed near an entryway, garage door, or exterior wall. It will brighten the way as you take out the trash or get home late at night.

How to Install

Step 1: Make sure that the power is turned OFF before installing or servicing this fixture.

Step 2: Remove the shroud of the fixture and insert G4 lamp into the lamp socket.

Step 3: Screw the fixture onto the stake. Lay out fixtures at desired locations. Any combination of lights is acceptable as long as the total wattage does not exceed 85% percent of the power supply transformer.

Step 4: Remove the sleeves from the pre-stripped lead wire. Use the wire connectors to connect lead wire to the main power supply cord.

How to Choose a Transformer

To determine the size of the transformer needed for a low-voltage lighting system, add up the wattage of all fixtures in the system and add 10% for low-voltage cable and fixture connections.

If the total load of fixtures is too great, either divide the total load between 2 transformers or use a more powerful transformer.
Select a transformer with 20% higher capacity than the total wattage of all fixtures in the system, which allows you to add more fixtures later.

Size of transformer=Total wattages of fixtures X 1.1

Select a transformer that matches as close as possible to the calculation shown above.

Example: you have 12 fixtures, each 5 watt. You need a 75-watt transformer (12x5=60 plus 10%= 66)

NOTE: Low-voltage lighting systems require the use of a transformer to reduce the standard 120-volt power from ordinary household electricity to 12, 13, 14, and 15 volts needed to power low-voltage fixtures.
The total wattage of all fixtures connected to one transformer must not exceed the wattage capacity of the transformer.

What is the beam angle?
The beam angle is determined by the bulb used in this fixture. Our light source is 360 degrees.
What are the lumens on the light bulb provided?
The light bulb we provide for this fixture is 180 lumen and 2700K.
How does the light connect to the lead wire?
Our light fixture with 6-foot wire and 2 connectors, you can strip part of the lead wire insulation and connect the wires from the light fixture to the lead wire.
Is the transformer required for this light?
Yes, our landscape lights work with 12V AC/DC low voltage, it requires a transformer
to reduce the voltage from 110V to 12V.
Do these come in white?
The light fixtures are bronze, don't have white light fixtures.
