The single light I purchased included outdoor "wire nuts" to connect the light directly to the main cable. I prefer not to use wire nuts when connecting to the main cable but rather a "connector." Amazon offer a myriad of connectors that can be used.

The lights don’t have individual sensors. They can be controlled by a timer or photocell on the circuit.
