Great for quick fix or new install

I used these waterproof landscape wire connectors for installation of landscape lighting. These connectors are silicone filled. Once I inserted the lighting wiring, a small amount of silicone oozed out which makes for an airtight waterproof seal at the connection. As added protection, I wrapped electrical tape around the connectors. That is not a necessary step, but since this is my first attempt at installing wired landscape lights, I wanted to take that extra measure. These connectors are super easy to use and a perfect fit for the thickness of the wiring I was connecting.
